Model Expo

Comments from Model Expo attendees:

“The model expo was a fantastic idea: please continue!!!!”
“[There] should be more and maybe longer model expo sessions.”

Share your model? Definitely! Again this year there will be an opportunity to do so. During one or more lunch times a Model Expo will be held. Authors who are presenting model-based work will have an opportunity to show their model to others and let them interact with it. Presentations can be on your laptop, tablet computer, or smartphone with the model loaded, or cellular connectivity and enough battery charge to last an hour and a half.

In addition, we encourage all authors to upload copies of their models and additional supporting material so others may study them and reproduce results. The Model Expo is a chance to talk to people about how the models work, get important comments, and just show off. The Model Expo is an auxiliary event. A model shared at the Model Expo event does not replace a scheduled poster, parallel, or plenary presentation.

There are a limited number of spots available, and signup is on a first-come-first-served basis, so let us know right away if you want to Expo your model. Please send an email message to [email protected] stating exactly “MODEL EXPO SIGNUP # (include your accepted paper number)” as the subject. More information will follow.
