Call for Transparency in COVID-19 Modeling

The Society has joined the call in Science Magazine for transparency in COVID-19 modeling and encourages open sharing of models and assumptions that will help us through this pandemic.  A number of members and partners have answered this call and we have gathered their models and thoughts to share with the world.  Please explore these COVID-19 resources and critique, use, improve, and share them with proper attribution to those who provided them.

Registration is Open for the 2020 Virtual Conference

July 20-24, 2020

As you are likely aware, the Society’s 2020 July Conference will now be held in a virtual format. We have spent the last month redesigning the experience and are pleased to offer you details about the planned event.  Though there are significant costs to plan and deliver our annual conference (which are even greater this year since we have planned for two events), we are pleased to be able to offer a significantly reduced price because we must no longer rent space or provide food. The new price will be $200 for full-time student members, $215 for non member students, $300 for member, and $400 for non-members.  We hope that this reduction in price, and the substantial savings from avoiding travel-related costs, will make the 2020 Virtual International System Dynamics Conference more accessible than ever, providing opportunities to engage with new colleagues throughout the world.

 Take Our Society Culture Survey

The Society has developed this pulse check to better understand how the field and the Society are perceived by the community at large. Please take a few moments to complete the survey to help us understand where we can best intervene in the system. It should take no more than 15 minutes. Thank you in advance for your time.

Volunteer for the Society

The System Dynamics society is looking for volunteers! Our members have much to offer, and we want you to help us build the field and make the society valuable for its members. Volunteering can lead to leadership positions in the System Dynamics Society, and can help volunteers to build relationships, shape the future of the Society, and give back to the community.
