Hi every body

I am a new comer to the SD society and have been following with much 
interest the discussions on strategy and other technical issues. I am 
puzzled that some of the issues are of basic character as for example 
the exchange of opinions on whether to model the system or the problem. 
I thought the system is derived from the problem. How can one define the 
boudaries of the system without first defining the problem ? isn't it 
so that system is a model of the problem,

so what´s the problem
