EPSRC Doctoral Studentships in Healthcare Innovation

The Tanaka Business School is inviting applications for three year doctoral 
studentships on innovation in healthcare delivery. Successful candidates will 
be working within an interdisciplinary team in the Health and Care 
Infrastructure Research and Innovation Centre (HaCIRIC, www.haciric.org). 
We would like to hear from those who are interested in carrying out research 
on themes such as:

•         Technology adoption and diffusion

•         Managing innovation in complex organisational environments

•         Stimulating innovation in organisations, for example through incentives and targets

•         Simulation and modeling to understand the impact of innovation

•         Planning and delivering the infrastructure to enable innovative health services

Candidates are likely to have a background in social science and an interest in 
technology/innovation management, health policy or management disciplines, such as 
organisational behaviour and should have a good degree at Master's level.  Candidates 
with an interest in either quantitative or qualitative research methods are encouraged

Funding is available for UK and EU fee status applicants. For UK applicants, the 
studentships cover fees and a stipend of c£14,500 per annum for three years.  EU 
applicants are eligible for full funding if they have spent a minimum of 3 years 
studying or working in the UK immediately before taking up the award.
