Hi Everyone,

I have had a variety of discussions on this list during the conference and there
is an overwhelming consensus that its time has come. There are two reasons for 
this. One is technological, it is simply too old fashioned. The other is that it
it not helping to bring coherence to information about System Dynamics, but
instead
simply introducing confusion.

In light of this I am planning to transition this list to something else -
probably a
discussion board with an option to receive email updates of discussion postings.
This,
in conjunction with the Wiki now available at http://wwww.systemdynamics.org/wiki
seems
like it will be much more productive.

In the mean time, I will restrict the list to announcements and queries on
specific
applications that are not easily answered from a search of the System Dynamics 
bibliography.
