50th Anniversary Celebration--Boston Conference News and Updates
International Conference of the System Dynamics Society

LESS THAN TWO WEEKS REMAIN to submit your work for review.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  March 26.

The conference promises strong participation and a full program of high
quality contributions. Featured plenary speakers in 2007 will include Jay
W. Forrester; Professor Forrester will talk about the future of system
dynamics. Watch for announcements regarding a variety of anniversary
events celebrating 50 years of system dynamics. There will be an array of
presentations, the PhD Colloquium, the Modeling Assistance Workshop, the
Thursday workshop day, and other associated events. For more information

REGISTRATION BROCHURE:  Includes information on the program,
accommodations, the registration form, and much more. Online registration
is available.

A limited number of partial CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIPS for accepted authors
are available this year. To apply, please use the submission system.

NAVIGATOR PROGRAM:  First-timers and veteran attendees will be brought
together based on topics of interest. The veteran will provide information
to help the first-timer maneuver through the conference resourcefully. If
you are a first-timer and would like to sign up, please check the box on
the registration form.

*Innovations in 2007*

POSTER SYMPOSIUM AND BUFFET:  All posters will be presented on Monday
evening, together with a buffet dinner. Converse with the authors and have
a bite to eat.

BEER GAME WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP:  Whether you have led the game or never
played, be sure to come.

SYSTEM DYNAMICS APPLICATIONS AWARD:  Will be presented for the best "real
world" application of system dynamics conducted within 10 years of the
submission deadline of April 15.

DIAGRAM SLAM:  Create the most entertaining, innovative, beautiful and/or
outrageous stock-flow/causal-loop diagram. The topic area will be
announced in the morning with entries due later that day.

SYSTEM DYNAMICS TALENT SHOW:  Talent optional; walk-ons welcome.

GUIDED TOURS AT MIT:  Walk around the Institute, visit the MIT Museum.
