Hi All,

The System Dynamics Society has received a great deal of interest from 
First-time conference attendees who wish to receive some support from 
experienced members through the Navigator Program.  We urgently need 
more experienced people to act as Navigators.  This will take only 15 
minutes of your time, either on Sunday afternoon or Monday morning before 
the conference starts.  See details below.  If you can help out, please 
email me.

The 2007 International conference of the System Dynamics Society is
continuing an activity started last year called the Navigator Program.
During the last few years, we discovered that new-comers have
difficulty integrating into the conference, getting to meet people
doing similar work. The Navigator Program is designed to match up
first-timers with experienced attendees (navigators), based on topics
of interest to the first-timer.

The navigator and the first-timer will schedule a time to meet for 15
minutes on Sunday afternoon or Monday morning to talk on a specific content-
related topic (agreed on before the conference) as well as the expectations 
from the conference in general. The navigator can point the first-timer to 
people or work related to the topic of interest to the first-timer, give 
tips on interesting activities (during or after the conference), how to 
find one's way around etc.  Another 15 minute meeting on Wednesday to 
summarize would be useful, but is optional.

This activity should not take much of your time, and we believe that
it will be very beneficial to the growth of the Society. Please email
me if you can help and indicate your topic area from the list below,
or enter "general", or add one if I have missed a useful topic. Thank
