I am working on a project at work that supports the point Bill Harris makes. 
I have not used the term "system dynamics" with my clients and in fact, the 
model itself is a poor example of SD. The critical point of acceptance, in 
my opinion, has been the tight fit between the model's behavior (from a 
laboriously constructed data set) and historical data from a separate data 
source. My hope/expectation is to leverage this engagement into another, and 
over time gain street credibility for a tool that works.
