Please see an initial inquiry into this in the book: Dynamic Modeling of
Environmental Systems by M. Deaton and J. Winebrake, Springer-Verlag,
2000. One of the chapters in that book builds a STELLA model on carbon
buildup in the atmosphere and temperature. Students/readers of the book
are invited and asked to create interventions and model the impact of
those interventions on the climate.
