Based on the too few examples in reply to my query on SD and national 
government policies AND the apparent lack of the US administration and 
Congress to recognize that decisions have (sometimes dire) unintended 
consequences, I would like to suggest that the SD community respond at 
the 25th International Conference of the SDS.  Perhaps an open panel 
discussion.  If we really believe we have a serious and valuable tool 
then how can we perfuse SD thinking and modeling into the everyday 
workings of government? There is no reason why the practioners of SD 
should not be fully employed/contracted by governments to participate 
in responding to the day's pressing problems.  We should use the 
experience of those that have contributed with SD (apparently health 
providers and military,) as a foot in the door.  But how?
