Dear Stefan,
You might want to check out some of Samuel Jacaobsen's work in sociology since
he was looking at social norms, organizational change, and using system dynamics
as a simulation tool to developing sociological theories:
Samuel, Y., & Jacobsen, C. (1997). A system dynamics model of planned organizational
change. Computational and mathematical organization theory, 3(3), 151-171.
Jacobsen, C. (1999), The process of crescive legitimation: theory, simulation model,
and three empirical tests, Adaptive Behavior 7(3-4), 255-267.

Research Society of America (ORSA).

of a new social norm, in C. Jackson, P. Keys and S.A. Cropper (eds.), Operational
Research and the Social Sciences, Plenum, London, 531--536.

system dynamics modeling. System Dynamics Review, 3(1), 1-7.

adequacy of macro-sociological theories, Journal of Mathematical Sociology 15 (2), 137--148.

sociological theory, Sociological Methods and Research 23 (4), 479--506.
