I know one source that might be useful for you. It's a professor called
Rainer Hegselmann, teaching in Bayreuth. He is working on something
called opinion dynamics, but with Agent-based modelling. I don't know
the specifc articles by him, but you can find out about him by googeling
Hegselmann...
