Stock&Flow Modeling Expert Help needed

Postby Rikin Thakker » Thu Mar 15, 2012 5:48 pm

Hi,
I am trying to model a problem with iThink using Stock and Flow structure. I have basic model ready and also the data but need some help in troubleshooting my current S&F model with feedback loops in iThink. I have spent number of hours on the model but cannot complete few feedback loops successfully. I think my lack of practice on iThink is to blame here. Any help - in person (DC/VA/MD Metro Area) or via email/phone is appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi Rikin, send me some more information on what your model and intended audience is about and I'll be happy to help. Send me an email. Regards, Mark mc@alum.mit.edu

Hi Rikin,
My colleagues and clients are also worry about stock flow modelling.
Therefore, I provide a modelling procedure in poster style.
Please access the below.
http://www.isc.senshu-u.ac.jp/~thc0577/modellingA3Vensim.pdf
The graphics is generated with Vensim, but iThink or others are similar, therefore I believe there is no problem.
With my best regards,
Yutaka.
