Aivika – A multi-paradigm simulation library written in F#

 Hello,

I’m glad to announce the first stable release of my multi-paradigm simulation library Aivika(http://sourceforge.net/projects/aivika/ ). It covers System Dynamics, Discrete Event Simulation (both event-driven and process-driven) and the Agent-based modeling. Aivika allows us to create hybrid models and then simulate them. Moreover, the models can be easily integrated into the existent .NET applications. For example, you can create Web-based visualized models using Silverlight. Then such models can be downloaded and played in the Internet browser.

Aivika is mainly destined for modelers who have programmer skills in .NET and the F# programming language. At the same time the domain specific language of Avika in that part which is related to System Dynamics is very close and similar textually to other modeling languages applied in Simtegra MapSys, Vensim, ithink, Powersim, Berkeley-Madonna, AnyLogic and other specialized tools.

For example,...
Statistics : Posted by David Sorokin • on Sat Jan 10, 2009 1:02 pm • Replies 5 • Views 6334
