Road Maps, A Guide to Learning System Dynamics is a self-study guide to learning system dynamics. It is organized as a series of chapters, and is being developed by the System Dynamics in Education Project at MIT under the direction of Professor Jay Forrester. Presently, nine chapters of Road Maps are available. Road Maps teaches the reader how to identify different kinds of systems all around us and how to model these systems using a computer. Road Maps can be a resource for both beginners and advanced system dynamics modelers, and requires no previous system dynamics knowledge and only basic math skills.

Introduction to System Dynamics is an online book prepared for the Department of Energy by Michael J. Radzicki, Ph.D. of Sustainable Solutions, Inc. While the examples are directed to energy policy, anyone interested in learning system dynamics will find it valuable. The very clever web pages were designed by Robert A. Taylor of U.S. Department of Energy. Be sure to see the bottom of the Overview page for an explanation of how to move through lessons. If you click on a note, it will cover the chapter menu. Clicking the Menu button on the upper right restores the chapter menu. (The online simulations have not yet been implemented.)

We will set up additional hyperlinks to as many good distance learning programs as we can identify. Suggestions via feedback above would be appreciated.
