Bibliography: Additions Policy


Journal articles, monographs, chapters in edited books, audio-visual materials and dissertation/thesis bibliographic references are acceptable additions to the System Dynamics Bibliography. All of the articles from the System Dynamics Review and papers from the Society conferences are routinely included in the current bibliography. The bibliography is updated two times per year. Please only submit references that have been published.

Forthcoming materials should have the following features:

Please provide as much information as possible. Your addition of keywords and abstracts not under copyright is especially encouraged. Below are the guidelines for entries:

Journal articles:
Author(s), title, journal name, year, volume, issue number, paging, ISSN, keywords and abstract.

Monographs:
Author(s), title, place of publication, publisher, year, paging, edition, ISBN(s), keywords and abstract.

Chapters:
Author(s), chapter title, paging (for chapter), editor(s)/author(s) of book, book title, place of publication, publisher, year, edition, ISBN(s), keywords and abstract.

Audio-visual materials:
Title, medium type (ex. Videocassette, DVD), running time, place of publication, publisher, year, number of items, content description, producer/director/narrator.

Dissertations/Theses:
Author, title, year, paging, University/College name and city, academic department, type of thesis, keywords and abstract.

Acceptable file formats include Endnote, Microsoft Excel or Word, and plain text.
