	Nominating Committee: Unlike other committees and positions, the Nominating Committee's term of office runs from August to July. The Committee consists of 6 members, three dictated by their position in the Society, and three appointed for staggered three year terms. The three dictated members shall be those holding the positions of Past President (Chair), current President, and President-Elect at the time of the summer meeting. At the Summer Policy Council meeting, the President shall submit to the Policy Council for approval the name of one member to replace the appointed member whose term is expiring. The current appointed members are: Yaman Barlas (2007), Ozge Pala (2007-2008), and Deborah Campbell (2007-2009).
